Selling A Collection At SaltyColllector
How the Process Works
1. Reach Out
Email info@saltycollector.com with:
Your first and last name
A brief overview of your collection
An Excel or spreadsheet listing cards and condition
Clear photos of the front and back of each card
2. Review & Follow-Up
I’ll review your submission and may ask a few follow-up questions. There’s no rush and no obligation, just an open conversation.
3. Fair Offer
If your collection is a good fit, I’ll provide a transparent offer based on current market values, condition, and demand.
4. Payment & Next Steps
If you choose to move forward, we’ll clearly coordinate payment and shipping details.
For first-time collection deals, items are shipped first prior to payment to ensure accurate verification.Payment is typically sent via PayPal Friends & Family. Other payment methods may be available depending on the size and structure of the deal and can be discussed during the process.
5. Shipping Your Items
Once we agree on an offer, I’ll provide clear shipping instructions. Items should be packaged securely to prevent damage in transit.
I recommend:
Penny sleeves + top loaders or card savers for singles
Team bags for grouped cards
Bubble wrap and sturdy boxes for sealed items
Tracking on all shipments (required)
Shipping costs and responsibility will be discussed before anything is sent.
I buy Pokémon collections of many sizes — from individual cards to full collections. If you’re interested in starting a conversation about selling your collection, feel free to reach out via email.
When contacting me, please include your first and last name along with an Excel or spreadsheet listing your cards and their condition. Clear photos of the front and back of each card are strongly recommended to help ensure an accurate review.
I’m always happy to take a look and have an honest, no-pressure conversation.

How Offers Are Determined
Offers are based on current market values, item condition, demand, and the overall size of the collection.
As a general guideline, offers typically range between 65–80% of current market value, depending on factors such as condition, liquidity, and ease of resale. Higher-demand items and larger, well-organized collections may receive stronger offers within that range.
To determine market value, I reference:
TCGplayer current listings from reputable sellers (generally sellers with 20,000+ completed sales), and
eBay recently sold listings, using an average of the past three comparable sales.
Every collection is reviewed individually, and I’m always happy to walk through how an offer is calculated so everything is clear and transparent.
